About The Position

The House Person plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the facility to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for guests and staff. This position involves supporting the housekeeping team by handling various tasks such as cleaning public areas, replenishing supplies, and assisting with laundry and room preparation. The House Person contributes to the smooth operation of daily activities by promptly addressing maintenance needs and ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, as well as effective communication with team members and management. Ultimately, the House Person helps create a positive experience for visitors and supports the overall efficiency of the hospitality or facility management team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain public areas, corridors, restrooms, and service areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Assist housekeeping staff with room preparation, including delivering linens, towels, and amenities.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials in accordance with facility policies.
  • Replenish supplies in guest and staff areas, ensuring availability and proper stock levels.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Support laundry operations by transporting linens and assisting with sorting and folding as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of daily cleaning schedules and special projects.
