About The Position
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Deep clean, shampoo carpets and rotate mattresses. Vacuum hallways. Maintain vending areas. Stock linen closets with linens and supplies. Remove trash at the end of the day. Perform preventative maintenance on a daily basis. Assist Guest Room and Laundry Attendants as needed. Provide guests with requested information and services (i.e. casino information and directions). Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QualificationsEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS At least 3 months experience as a Guest Room Attendant. High School Diploma or GED preferred. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Good customer service skills. Able to follow all safety rules and regulations. Able to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a courteous and professional manner. High standard of cleanliness. UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures. Regular attendance and punctuality. Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required. Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Mobility throughout the facility. Able to lift up to 40 pounds. Able to bend, twist and kneel continuously.
