About The Position

As a Program Level Program Manager, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of the team, managing operations, staffing and budget of the home for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will get to know your clients on a personal level as you manage your team and assist them with in the implementation of person-centered plans, goals and objectives. Requirements

  • High School degree or GED required; college courses in Human Services, Social Work or Management preferred.
  • 4 years of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and automotive insurance.
  • Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed.
  • Clean OSBI.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the team.
  • Manage operations, staffing, and budget of the home.
  • Interview and hire Direct Support Professionals.
  • Delegate work activities and prepare employee schedules.
  • Ensure adequate staffing coverage at all times.
  • Perform personal care duties such as personal hygiene tasks, meal preparation, and goal implementation.
  • Work closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication and provide feedback.
  • Standardize procedures and expedite the implementation of person-centered plans.
  • Monitor and provide feedback to staff on all shifts in interactions and relationships with people supported.
  • Resolve employee issues and conduct performance reviews.
  • Ensure employees meet training requirements and attend required events.
  • Monitor select budget items and stay within guidelines.
  • Provide after hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation.
