We are seeking a compassionate and flexible House Manager to join our team! This role is essential in ensuring the safety, structure, and support of residents within our sober living facility. The House Manager will provide on-site supervision, safety, and support to residents in our sober living home. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexibility, as hours may vary and will include evenings, weekends, and overtime based on the facility’s needs. You’ll be a key part of maintaining a supportive, recovery-focused environment while assisting residents and collaborating with the clinical team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Recovery Principles: Familiarity with twelve-step programs and substance abuse treatment modalities is a strong advantage
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with residents and staff
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility: Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and as needed based on staffing needs

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents, enforcing house rules and maintaining a structured environment
  • Assist in managing daily house operations, including meetings, inspections, and facilitating residents' participation in twelve-step programs
  • Serve as a role model and support system for residents, promoting recovery principles and personal growth
  • Work closely with the clinical team to support residents’ recovery goals and help coordinate housing programs
  • Be available to cover shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and overnight hours
