About The Position

A private, professional couple with a long history of loyal staff is seeking an experienced, discreet, and service-oriented House Manager to oversee and maintain their seasonal residence in Sarasota. This is a hands-on, full-service role requiring independent oversight of the property. There are no additional staff members on site when the principals are in residence.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Tech-savvy, especially with security and smart home systems
  • Prior private home experience (domestic couple background strongly preferred)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Professional, discreet, and service-minded
  • Seeking a long-term role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of home and property care, including pool, structure, and general grounds
  • Coordinate and supervise vendors and service providers (landscaping, repairs, maintenance, etc.)
  • Perform light handyman duties and routine preventative maintenance
  • Manage home security and smart home systems
  • Run errands and handle airport pick-ups and drop-offs as needed
  • Prepare and manage outdoor setups for principals and guests, including beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels
  • Prepare healthy meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner as needed)
  • Provide light refreshments in the afternoon when requested
  • Handle menu planning and grocery shopping
  • Openness to expanding culinary skills is welcomed
