About The Position

The House Car Driver has an important role in the guest’s first impression of the hotel and its services. The House Car Driver will conduct their job duties in a professional and friendly manner at all times. Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay for this position is $13.00 per hour plus tips. Qualifications: Minimum Education – High School Diploma Minimum Experience – Previous guest service experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting is appreciated, but not essential. Must possess the ability to remain calm in a stressful and/or hurried environment. Ability to handle confidential information.Must work both independently and in a team environment. Good to Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.Must be able to pass a background check. Must have a valid Drivers License and acceptable past driving record. Expectations & Responsibilities: House Car Driver possesses an extensive/intimate knowledge of the hotel operational policies and procedures, as guests will require a vast array of resort services and information. Transport guests to and from destination while offering assistance with their bags, guest questions, and more. Follows the rules of the road and maintains a safe driving speed while transporting guests. Facilitating guest traffic in the lobby, opening doors, and answering guests’ questions while not transporting guests. Above all, the House Car Driver appreciates the opportunity to be of service. Maintain and uphold the appearance of our luxury cars in our Hotel Fleet. Knowledge of Kiawah Island and the immediate area. Upholds the core values and policies & procedures of the resort.All other duties as assigned Essential Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds across short-medium distance. Must be able to drive for long periods at a time.Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements. Requirements
