The House Car Driver/Lobby Ambassador provides personalized experiences to all guests from arrival to departure. Responsible for transporting hotel guests to/from assigned destinations by operating our property luxury vehicle in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. Perform duties of Bell person including assisting with luggage, proactively connect with guests upon arrival, opening the doors for guests and ensuring proper hospitality and attention.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR)
  • Thorough knowledge of local areas and roads.
  • 3 years’ experience driving vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of the English language.
  • Ability to communicate with guests, respond to questions, knowledge of hotel service, local area events and activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel or a related field preferred
  • Previous driver, and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Driving guests to appropriate destinations in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle, including interior and exterior up to standards.
  • Coordinate, track and respond quickly to all transportation requests.
  • Show guests to room assisting them with their luggage.
  • Check luggage for hotel guests both for day and overnight.
  • Explain all hotel facilities, their locations in the hotel, hours of operations, and answer all questions about these facilities and other hotel questions.
  • Knowledge of daily functions, VIP's and any other special events occurring in the hotel.
  • Offers direction, recommend restaurants, or area attractions, and makes reservations or travel arrangements upon requests.
  • Maintain the designated stations in the lobby, standing alert to be easily summoned for fronts.
  • Open doors and greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby and baggage room. Keep lobby door and windows clean when not busy with guests.
  • Maintain professional composure in high stress situations.
  • Multi-tasking skills, accomplishing tasks while being aware of guest needs.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
