About The Position

The Housekeeping House Attendant assures cleanliness of guest rooms, guest corridors, foyers, stairwells, and landings. The House Attendant will also assist room attendants and housekeepers as needed in order to maintain the hotel’s high standards of quality.

Requirements

• Knowledge of operations in the Hospitality Industry
• Must be able to stand in one place for extended periods of time, and to remain on feet for up to 8 hours.
• The individual should be a High School Graduate and/or any combination of experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability to effectively fulfill the requirements of this job description.
• Technologically sound with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop guestrooms, stairwells, all back of the house and public space areas.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls, light fixtures, elevator tracks, and doors
• Assist trash and linen house persons with removal of large items from the guest corridors.
• Assist Room Attendants with linen and supply requests.
• Assist Room Attendants in stripping rooms and picking up garbage if needed.
• Maintain all closets as per established cleanliness, linen and supply pars.
• Respond to all Hotel Expert calls and close within a timely matter.
