The House Person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public hotel areas according to established brand and hotel guest service and sustainability standards. This role involves greeting and acknowledging guests in a courteous and friendly manner, inspecting assigned areas, and performing cleaning tasks accordingly. The House Person will also collect trash from service landings, vacuum and dust guest corridors, and transport linen to the laundry collection site. Additionally, they will report maintenance issues, maintain cleanliness and organization of guest areas, and respond to guest inquiries. The position may require working as a room attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods, and it emphasizes the importance of guest satisfaction and adherence to sustainability guidelines.
