About The Position

The House Attendant-Turn Down is responsible for providing turndown service for guest rooms, ensuring they are cleaned and refreshed as needed. This role involves performing various housekeeping duties and requires availability to work evenings. The position is integral to maintaining the high standards of service at The Charles Hotel, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
• Effective listening skills to understand and clarify concerns raised by co-workers and guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide turndown service to assigned guest rooms and suites.
• Clean and refresh guest rooms as needed.
• Restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
• Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to The Charles Hotel standards.
• Follow all procedures as outlined by the Housekeeping Manager.
