About The Position

We are hiring immediately for full and part time HOURLY SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions. This role is located at Gallaudet Marketplace - 800 Florida Avenue Northeast, Washington, DC 20002. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full and part time, Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary; more details will be provided upon interview. The fixed pay rate is $25.00 per hour. An Internal Employee Referral Bonus is available. Bon Appétit Management Company operates over 1,000 cafés nationwide for corporations, universities, and museums, in addition to public restaurants. Requirements

Prior supervisor, inventory, and stocking experience is required.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Must have computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
