The Hourly Shift Coordinator (HSC) at Burger King serves as the Shift Leader, responsible for managing restaurant operations during assigned shifts. The role focuses on achieving sales and profit results while ensuring excellent guest service and effective team management. The HSC supports the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager in driving performance outcomes related to profitability, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

  • Follows all cash control and security procedures, including safe counting and cash drawer management.
  • Maintains inventory through daily and weekly inspections and receives inventory truck orders.
  • Motivates and directs Team Members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, and friendly service in clean surroundings.
  • Provides coaching and feedback to Team Members to enhance their capabilities and improve restaurant performance.
  • Sets an example for Team Members by implementing the shift plan and driving operational results.
  • Directs the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
  • Motivates Team Members during shifts across various workstations.
  • Reviews restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement.
  • Ensures that the restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
  • Performs duties of Team Members when necessary.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
  • 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed.
