The Hourly Shift Coordinator (HSC) at Burger King is responsible for leading shifts in the restaurant, focusing on achieving sales and profit goals while ensuring excellent guest service and operational efficiency. The HSC supports the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager in managing daily operations and directly oversees a team of employees during their shifts.

  • Follow all cash control and security procedures, including safe counting and cash drawer management.
  • Maintain inventory through daily and weekly inspections and receive inventory truck orders.
  • Motivate and direct Team Members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, and friendly service in clean surroundings.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to Team Members to enhance their capabilities and improve restaurant performance.
  • Set an example for Team Members by implementing shift plans and driving operational results.
  • Direct the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
  • Motivate Team Members during shifts across various workstations.
  • Review restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
  • Perform duties of Team Member when necessary.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
  • 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed.
