About The Position
The City of Las Vegas Department of Neighborhood Services invites applications for professional - (Maintenance Support). Part-time Professionals perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance, construction, and repair work in the area of work assigned which may include: cleaning and maintaining city property, city-owned open spaces, single-family properties, and equipment; assisting other staff in construction and maintenance work; loading and unloading tools, materials and supplies, Identifying major repairs needed and reporting to higher level staff, maintaining inventory of equipment, materials and supplies. This is an hourly entry-level, part-time position. Scheduled hours for this position are limited to 19 hours or less per week (Shift will be Mon - Thurs either morning or afternoon). Hourly employees are also limited to 1,560 hours of work in any 18-month period.
