Requirements

• Data entry skills to record production information.
• Ability to distinguish between colors.
• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Required to wear steel toe shoes, hair nets, safety glasses, and earplugs at a minimum.
• Must be able to work in a tobacco-free campus setting.
• Jewelry of any kind is prohibited on the production floor.

Nice To Haves

• 1-5 years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of the consumer packaging operation.
• Train in one or more departments, which may include Food Services, Bowl/Tray Forming, Finishing, and Web Operations.
• Understand safety, product quality, and producing/packing finished goods for customers.
