Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to effectively interact with staff and clients.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision, or in a group environment.
• Positive customer-oriented attitude and professional image.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including a mix of early mornings, daytime, evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous AV, electrical, or IT experience is preferred, but not required.
• A desire to learn new skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to provide audio/visual support to all events in the University of Wyoming Conference Center, the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center, and any other spaces our AV equipment is being used.
• Set up and maintain audio/visual equipment, configure and operate projectors, microphones, audio mixing consoles, video switchers, and teleconferencing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests.
• Perform duties in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Report directly to the Audio/Visual Services Coordinator.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
