About The Position
The Hourly Lunchroom Aide position at Amigos School is a part-time role requiring 15 hours of work per week. Under the supervision of the administration, the lunch aide is responsible for overseeing the activities of school children in the cafeteria. This includes ensuring the safety of the children by monitoring their actions and promoting good manners during lunch. The aide will also be responsible for guiding children in cleaning up after meals, including clearing tables and disposing of waste properly. In cases where special needs children are present, the aide may provide additional support to help these individuals navigate the cafeteria and assist them with their meals. Limited training may be provided for those working with special needs children. This role is essential in creating a positive and safe lunch environment for all students.
