About The Position
Under the direction of a licensed staff member, assist students by helping individuals or small groups of students with basic curriculum work, implementing programming, reinforcing learning skills and reinforcing discipline procedures.
Requirements
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
- Ability to work with adults in a team setting
- Current Cherry Creek School District student
- Basic clerical skills
- Basic organizational Skills
- Ability to work one-on-one or in small or large groups of students or teachers
- Basic communication skills

Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in prepping materials, administering tests, grading, attendance, etc. Assist with paperwork and documentation as needed
- Assist students with classroom activities. Assist with curriculum delivery to individuals, as well as small and large groups to ensure mastering of subjects
- Monitor students and reinforce appropriate behavior during various activities such as play, lunch, recess, and detention
- Assist with other classroom events, such as field trips or fire drills, as necessary.
- Attend grade-level and school meetings to assess data and plan lessons accordingly.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested
