SUMMARY: Hourly Food Service Team Members are responsible for the successful daily operations of our satellite cafeteria and Grab & Go program, as well as providing support to the Café when needed. This role requires a proactive and self-managed individual who can effectively lead in the absence of management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Act as an effective leader in the absence of management, demonstrating strong self-management skills. - Receive, handle, and rotate goods and inventory, ensuring proper inventory controls and managing food pars. - Interact with food vendors and place orders as needed. - Assist management in the implementation of training programs for new hires. - Prepare, present, and serve food and beverages to guests in the satellite café and Grab & Go stations. - Operate the point of sale system, manage guest relations, and provide excellent customer service. - Maintain food action stations and ensure equipment care. - Perform routine and daily cleaning duties as assigned. - Undertake other duties as assigned to support the team and operations. REQUIREMENTS: Communication Skills: - Enhanced verbal communication skills to actively participate in guest relations and overall customer satisfaction. - Ability to interact with all levels of Tyson Foods Team Members. - Capacity to train, develop, and mentor new hires in collaboration with management. Special Skills: Minimum of 3-5 years of kitchen experience required, demonstrating proficiency in culinary techniques and kitchen operations. Proficiency in all aspects of daily operations, including culinary techniques, operational processes, and equipment usage. Strong self-guidance and ability to identify priority items and demonstrate effective time management. Ability to read, comprehend, expand, and reduce standard kitchen recipes. Assist in the development of new recipes in collaboration with management. Understand established food safety risks and best practices. Basic math skills and understanding of measurements and currency. ServeSafe Food Handler's Certification, preferred Supervisory Skills: - Strong time management and organizational skills. - Ability to manage personal tasks while providing support to other team members. - Work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
