About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of workers involved in the finishing of cast iron pipe. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Pay Rate between $75,000 to $80,000

Requirements

Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions and procedures.
Capable of performing effectively in high-pressure situations and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
Ability to apply past experiences to solve problems efficiently.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

Monitor and examine materials at various stages of production to ensure quality standards are met.
Observe machinery operations, interpret specifications, and make necessary adjustments to work procedures.
Suggest improvements to work conditions to enhance efficiency and safety.
Resolve work-related issues promptly and effectively.
Maintain accurate time and production records to track performance.
Ensure production levels meet established targets.
Collaborate closely with maintenance supervisors to ensure consistent production.
Directly supervise a team of 15-20 employees, providing guidance and support.
Ensure required training, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Pure Safety, and Safety Talks are completed daily, weekly, and monthly.
Conduct regular safety audits and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Oversee and enforce company policies, safety regulations, and disciplinary actions for hourly staff as needed.
Uphold all supervisory responsibilities in compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
