About The Position

Endeavor Hospitality Group, a growing boutique hotel management company, is seeking a skilled, motivated Sales Manager to join our team at the well-designed, high-performing Courtyard by Marriott New York Midtown West. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hotel sales experience, familiarity with Marriott systems and practices, and a strong background in Business Transient and small group sales. With a rapidly expanding portfolio, this is a unique opportunity to grow into a regional sales manager role soon. Our hotel features 399 spacious guestrooms, including 26 suites, an on-site bar and restaurant, and 1,800 sq. ft. of meeting space. Perfectly situated next to multiple top corporate campuses, just three blocks from the Jacob Javits Convention Center, and a five‑minute walk to both Madison Square Garden and The High Line, the property is primed for strong corporate and leisure business. Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands‑on hotel sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of the sales, negotiation, and contracting process
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strategic thinker with innovative business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven negotiation skills and creative selling abilities
  • Experience with digital sales systems and reporting tools (e.g., Delphi, PMS, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel outside the area for sales appointments, meetings, and trade shows
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Building Business Transient and Small Group market segments
  • Identifying, qualifying, and soliciting new business to achieve personal and property revenue goals
  • Cultivating strong client relationships through direct outreach and engagement
  • Increasing the Courtyard New York Midtown West’s overall market share
  • Generating short‑ and long-term bookings to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Preparing weekly, monthly, and annual administrative reports
  • Collaborating closely with the Marriott Global Sales Office
  • Attending regional and national trade shows and industry events to strengthen existing accounts and source new business
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support business needs
