Requirements

  • At least 1 year of front desk experience in a hotel setting is required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with hotel management software preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check (no felonies, regardless of how long ago).
  • Must pass a drug screening.
  • Flexibility to work on a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, and manage reservations using hotel software.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Manage phone calls and emails, providing accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and reconcile payments accurately.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to meet guest needs efficiently.
