About The Position

The Town Pump Hotel Group is looking for a motivated and outgoing Hotel Porter, who will model our mission statement "Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service." As a Hotel Porter, you will: Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of Town Pump operating guidelines. Display a high degree of work ethic and pride in workmanship. Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner. Always follow Town Pump's grooming and appearance guidelines and wear a uniform and nametag while on shift. Ensure exterior building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash and debris, as well as removing weather-related hazards such as snow, ice, and other debris. Gather linens from guest rooms for housekeeping staff and assist room attendants with cleaning of rooms as needed. Ensure all equipment, tools, and inventory stock are always secure. Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens. May be required to perform duties in other departments, as needed, such as cross-training with the front desk and housekeeping. Comply with Town Pump expectations for the confidentiality of guest and company information. Complete tasks and assignments on the daily Porter Checklist Perform duties to ensure common areas are cleaned, ensure the best possible experience for each guest, and to Town Pump and brand operational standards. Have knowledge of general housekeeping and recordkeeping, ability to comprehend oral and written instructions, correspondence, and memos.
