About The Position

The Hotel Night Manager is responsible for overseeing the evening operations of the Barrymore Hotel, ensuring that all departments function smoothly and efficiently. This role focuses on maximizing guest satisfaction, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and resolving guest complaints in a professional manner. The Night Manager will also train staff, collaborate with marketing teams, and conduct inspections to uphold quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Multilingual skills are a plus, as it allows for effective communication with international guests
• Proficient in phone etiquette and handling phone systems
• Strong knowledge of guest services principles and practices
• Familiarity with human resources procedures and policies
• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Evening Operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
• Supervise and coordinate all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage
• Implement and monitor strategies to maximize guest satisfaction and improve hotel performance
• Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene throughout the hotel
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Train and supervise staff members to ensure excellent customer service
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel and attract new guests
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure quality standards are met
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the hotel's competitiveness
