About The Position

We are currently looking for Part-Time Night Auditor to join our front desk Team! The SpringHill Suites® by Marriott Cleveland/Solon, where our #1 priority is providing a clean and safe environment for all our guests and our associates is conveniently located just a short ride from downtown Cleveland. We offer 120 suites for our guests to relax. MGM Northfield Park, Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the historic Chagrin falls are easy to get to. Our guests love our spacious suites which feature separate areas for sleeping, working and relaxing. A great place to stay - a great place to work. The SpringHill Suites is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. The Night Auditor is the face of the hotel during overnight hours and provides superior service to all guests.

Requirements

• Customer Service experience, in a hotel setting preferred.
• Marriott experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and completing the check-in/check-out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handling cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
• Identifying the needs of each guest and providing relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities.
• Responding to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers and inputting all pertinent information into the hotel management system.
• Updating and canceling reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
• Organizing previous shifts paperwork, closing and balancing all room accounts and vouchers.
• Investigating and analyzing out of balance situations, running trial balance reports and night audit.
• Preparing guest folios for express check out.
