About The Position

The Hotel Manager at Aimbridge Hospitality plays a crucial role in the leadership team, acting as a right hand to the General Manager and serving as a key liaison for hotel guests. This position involves overseeing the Front Office and other key departments, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational efficiency. The Hotel Manager is responsible for directing daily operations, collaborating with department heads, and fostering a positive work environment to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' previous hotel operations management experience in a full-service environment.
  • Previous experience with Hilton branded hotels is strongly desired.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or appropriate combination of education and work experience.
  • Up-to-date certifications for safe food handling and responsible alcoholic beverage service.
  • Experience in executing against operating budgets with a history of meeting financial objectives.
  • Strong systems knowledge and technology skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse organizational functions.
  • Exceptional service orientation with a focus on guest needs.
  • Reliable character with exceptional follow-up and attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate each department's daily activities to ensure successful hotel operations.
  • Establish and review departmental standards, guidelines, and objectives; update as necessary.
  • Oversee hotel administrative processes such as staffing, training, and budgeting/finance.
  • Support the hotel's sales and business strategies to maximize revenues and profitability.
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs and quality checks to drive exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
  • Plan, organize, and delegate daily operational activities against forecasted business volume.
  • Drive effective communication across all departments to ensure consistency and understanding of objectives.
  • Address and respond to guest comments in person and on travel review sites.
  • Issue supplies and equipment as needed and participate in regular inventories.
  • Approve and process vendor invoices, complete bank deposits, and perform other accounting functions.
