About The Position

The position involves maintaining physical structures, grounds, and equipment in a like-new condition utilizing proper tools and trade practices. The role requires assisting trade positions, responding to radio requests, performing tasks that require tools, and operating from a man lift. The employee will travel to various locations of the property and assist in performing minor repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and preventive maintenance. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous utility maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Good reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player.
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist trade positions as needed.
• Initial responder to radio requests.
• Perform tasks requiring tools, such as lamp changes and hot/cold calls.
• Operate and work from a man lift.
• Travel to various locations of the property.
• Assist in performing minor repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist groundskeepers as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
