About The Position
As a Maintenance Technician at Archer Hotel Redmond, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the hotel operates smoothly and efficiently. This position involves performing a variety of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer or Engineering Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a safe, attractive, and efficiently operated hotel environment. You will be expected to perform basic repairs and maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and the overall building, which includes carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and snow and ice removal. In addition to routine maintenance, you will inspect and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure they meet operational and safety standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas, ensuring the security of assigned keys, and assisting with loss prevention to safeguard guests and associates. Responding courteously to guest inquiries and complaints is essential to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction. Your day-to-day tasks will also include servicing the hotel’s pool, adjusting chemicals, cleaning filters, and completing maintenance requests forms. You will assist in setting up and cleaning banquet and meeting rooms, respond to emergency situations, and follow all safety and security policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment. This role requires a commitment to teamwork and a strong focus on hospitality, as you will be representing the hotel’s reputation and values.
