Requirements

  • Certificate from a Vocational Institution in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical repair preferred.
  • Current Driver's License required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to meet OHM and brand standards.
  • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and handling pressure.
  • Knowledgeable in hotel operations and able to interact with all levels of management and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor painting, plumbing, electrical work, and equipment upkeep.
  • Replace air-conditioner filters and maintain HVAC systems.
  • Notify management of major repair needs and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain the appearance and safety of hotel interiors and exteriors, including pools and common areas.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet operational needs and respond to guest service requests.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and ensure proper stock levels.
  • Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and room inspections.
  • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to emergency procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and promote a culture of safety and guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
