We are committed to providing an outstanding guest experience and are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure our iconic property remains at its best. The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel. This valuable team member will perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to our guests.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a maintenance engineer or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and HVAC.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in maintenance engineering is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of the hotel premises to identify necessary repairs and maintenance investments.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and service issues to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
  • Undertake regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure all facilities are functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors for larger projects, ensuring work is completed to satisfactory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair works.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to assure guest and team member safety.
  • Assist in developing and implementing energy-saving initiatives.
  • Participate in the hotel emergency response team for all facility issues.
