Hotel Laundry Attendant
About The Position
The Laundry Attendant works with the Housekeeping Team to ensure all laundry for the hotel is completed in an efficient manner. This includes sorting, cleaning, folding and storing bedding and linen. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies and procedures. Operate washers and dryers according to manufacturer’s instruction. Sort soiled linen, inspecting for damage and stains. Record/Report damaged items. Monitor laundry supplies, and equipment to make sure that they are sufficient and in good working order. Responsible for minimizing laundry supply waste. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Monitor inventory and maintain established levels.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience preferred but will consider training the right applicant.
- Must be able to read, write and understand written and oral instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Attention to detail
