Hotel Laundry Attendant
About The Position
We are currently looking for a laundry attendant to join our Team at the Courtyard by Marriott- Providence Lincoln, 636 George Washington Hwy, Lincoln, RI 02865 (a Buffalo Lodging Associates – owned and operated hotel) The Courtyard® by Marriott -Providence Lincoln is situated minutes from Twin River Casino, Bryant University and Kirkbrae Country Club, and is only 9 miles from everything Downtown Providence has to offer. With 129 beautifully appointed guest rooms, we also have our onsite Bistro Restaurant & Bar which provides healthy breakfast, Starbucks® products and evening dining with a full bar. The Courtyard by Marriott is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. A Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens and towels for the hotel. Tends laundering machines to clean articles, such as sheets, towels and other linen. Inspects linen to locate stained or torn items. Records counts for discarded linen. Folds, stacks and places towels, sheets and other linen in appropriate storage bins. Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 Years Experience in hotel housekeeping
- Customer service skills and team player
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Able to stand for 8 hour shift
- Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs loading linen into machines
