About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Inspects, washes, folds, and stores all laundered supplies for Rooms. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •Provides clean linen for guest rooms. • Separates linen according to classification, fabric and color. • Counts all soiled linen and records the totals. • Operates washers and dryers pursuant to established procedures. • Loads and unloads washers and dryers. • Sorts stained linen for soaking and rewashing. • Folds, stacks, hangs and stores all laundered linen. • Separates, counts and discards damaged linen. • Records discarded linen in discard file. • Cleans dryer filters as scheduled. • Keeps supplies and storage area orderly at all times. • Cleans all equipment and work area daily. • Maintains par stock of laundry and cleaning supplies and informs manager of supplies needed. • Reports any hazardous conditions or malfunctions of equipment to Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisor. • Turns in lost and found items. • Complete all assign tasks on checklist and complete walkthrough with Manager to ensure all tasks were completed on said employee’s checklist before employee clocks out. • Performs other related and unrelated tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

Knowledge of applicable franchise standards and procedures.
Ability to maintain records and communicate effectively with other team members and management.
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Ability to follow schedule and ability to perform physical labor.
