Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Familiarity with environmentally friendly cleaning products and sustainable practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Certification in hospitality or cleaning safety standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and conference rooms.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or inventory shortages to the management team promptly.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure timely room readiness and exceptional guest service.
