About The Position

Responsible for providing clean public and guest areas throughout the hotel, including guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, hallways, and public vending areas. Assists room attendants to maintain standards of quality.

Requirements

Must have basic knowledge of sanitation requirements/controls and applications of relevant chemicals.
Must have the ability to lift, stand, walk, bend, reach and move continuously to clean assigned areas.
Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions from Supervisor.
Must have the ability to comprehend the English language enough to understand and communicate information for reasons such as safety and security; for example, product safety labels and emergency instructions.
Strong communication skills in English both written and oral.
Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful completion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain license.
Responsible to keep all documents current and valid at all times.
Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
Must comply with KLEC handbook, internal policy and procedures, and gaming regulations set within KLEC.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of stain removal and chemical cleaning agents, and operation of different types of equipment preferred.
Previous janitorial experience preferred.
Spanish or other language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team members' concerns and questions.
Ensures complete guest satisfaction.
Stocks linen closets or housekeeping carts with amenities and supplies for room attendants, including the delivery of supplies directly to room attendants.
Empties room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
Cleans and removing spots from corridor walls and doors and carpet.
Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
Uses correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
Vacuum, sweeps and mops hallways, stairwells, vending areas and foyers.
Rotation of mattresses and moving furniture as assigned by Supervisor.
Assists with the installation of cleaned or new drapes.
Make and prepare cribs and rollaway beds and transporting to and from the guest room.
Responds to guest questions, provide guest assistance, directions, and information as requested.
Responsible for reporting suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Executive Housekeeper, General Manager or Security.
Ensures that all safety procedures are followed in stairwells, under stairwells and fire exits
Turns in all lost and found items immediately to Supervisor.
Provides emergency instruction or guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.
Assists with department training efforts.
Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.
Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money Laundering policies.
Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
