About The Position

The Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront is seeking PM Housepersons to support evening operations and help deliver a clean, safe, and welcoming guest experience. This role is ideal for night owls or individuals seeking a second job, with consistent evening hours and a fast-paced environment. As a PM Houseperson, you’ll support guest needs, assist the Public Areas team, and partner with Security and Front Desk to ensure the hotel remains clean, stocked, and ready throughout the evening. Shift Options 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM Must have PM availability 7 days per week, including weekends and holidays. The PM Houseperson plays a key role in keeping the hotel running smoothly during busy evening hours. Your work helps ensure guests experience a clean, safe, and positive stay, and that departments are supported when it matters most. Requirements

  • Reliable PM availability including weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently during evening hours
  • Customer-service mindset with a helpful attitude
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull linen carts, supplies, and guest-request items
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift
  • Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout public areas and guest floors
  • Maintains awareness of surroundings and safety considerations at all times
  • Works calmly and effectively during busy periods or unexpected situations
  • Able to follow direction while also working independently during evening hours
  • Calm and professional when responding to upset guests or service concerns
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of guest situations, including intoxicated or distressed individuals, while maintaining professionalism and safety awareness
  • Friendly, approachable, and willing to actively engage with guests
  • Must remain alert and situationally aware; earbuds or similar distractions not permitted while on duty
  • Team-oriented with willingness to assist Security, Front Desk, and Housekeeping as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel experience preferred but not required
  • Minimal climbing may be required on rare occasions (step stool or small ladder)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest calls for amenities, linens, and service requests
  • Stock linen closets, storage areas, and service stations
  • Support public area cleanliness throughout the evening
  • Assist Security and Front Desk with guest needs and service recovery
  • Deliver items to guest rooms and throughout the hotel
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and guest-ready environment
