About The Position

Responsible for ensuring linen closets are stacked on each assigned floor and provides linen to guest room attendants as requested. Must clean and maintain assigned guest hallways and stairwells. Provides assistance and support to assigned guest room attendants by stripping rooms, removing soiled linen, trash, and providing supplies. Must be able to push and pull 150lbs carts. Must be able to life up to 75lbs. Able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch to clean low and high areas in the hotel. Able to walk up and down stairs. Must be able to work in areas containing second hand smoke. Must be able to operate equipment such as vacuums, floor machines, carpet extractors, mop, and a broom. Must be able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without developing an allergic reaction. Able to fold linen, bed sheets, blankets, bed spreads, and pillow cases.
