Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor
About The Position
We are currently looking for Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Team! Our Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nearest Universal Orlando, where we’re committed to providing a clean and safe environment for everyone. Our hotel has 184 rooms, including some suites. Our guests enjoy the convenience of being within walking distance to Universal Studios Florida™, Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ and Universal CityWalk™ . Just a few minutes off International Drive (I-Drive), we are close to the best shopping, restaurants and entertainment Orlando has to offer. The Holiday Inn Express Hotel is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. A Housekeeping Supervisor, oversees and supervises cleaning personnel and inspects hotel guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and lobbies by performing the following duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- Able to work flexible shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
- And most importantly an engaging personality.
Nice To Haves
- One year previous supervisory housekeeping experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintains cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met.
- Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
- Trains or re-trains staff on proper housekeeping procedures when needed.
- In absence of Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the housekeeping department supervision.
- Cleans rooms and public areas as assigned by Executive Housekeeper.
- Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays.
