About The Position

At Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City at Briarcliff, our Housekeeping Attendants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.
We are seeking individuals who take pride in their work, have a strong attention to detail, and embody a service-first mindset.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods
• Basic English communication skills required
• High level of energy and stamina
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity standards
• Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to support others as needed

Nice To Haves

• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, dusting, and vacuuming
• Replace and replenish linens, towels, and guest amenities to brand standards
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned
• Maintain and stock housekeeping cart daily to ensure efficiency
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with property procedures
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests
• Identify and report maintenance concerns; complete work orders as needed
• Follow all safety, cleanliness, and brand standards
• Maintain professional appearance and wear proper uniform at all times
