The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleaning and preparation of hotel rooms for our guests while maintaining property and brand standards and consistency as directed by your Supervisor(s). Clean assigned rooms according to property standards. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes and dusting furniture. Place and restock usable items in the rooms including paper items, soap, towels, shampoo, ice bags, and any additional items needed. Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner. Maintain and restock housekeeping carts each day. Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys, or keys left by guests in suite. Bring all lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper for proper logging, guest alerting, and storing. Report immediately to the Executive Housekeeper any out of the ordinary situation in the guests' room, including unreported pets, parties in the suite, unusually dirty sites or a vacant suite when the room is thought to be occupied. Report broken or missing items; utilize maintenance work orders and deliver to the Inspector or to the designated area in a timely manner. Answer guest questions regarding hotel and local area facilities and services. Miscellaneous duties as assigned; reasonable requests from a supervisor.
