About The Position

Overview of Position: The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for all daily housekeeping services to the inn and condominiums. They are responsible for all room turn over and the overall hotel appearance and condition of the units and public areas of the property.

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable interacting with both staff and guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Must be clean, neat, and organized.
  • Must be able to complete tasks as directed thoroughly and accurately with attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible, willing to learn and adapt to changes.
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for an entire work shift.
  • Must be reliable and punctual. Available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain room assignments from your Supervisors.
  • Clean rooms with proficiency in timely manner.
  • Check, stock and replenish closets as necessary. Report shortages to Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Report rooms to be inspected when finished.
  • Report any missing or broken items to maintenance or management.
  • Report and return items left in rooms by guests.
  • Report any suspicious activity to the Front Desk or management.
