Hotel Housekeeper
About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas, ensuring all spaces meet hotel cleanliness and safety standards. Step into relaxation at our trendy hotel in Novi Part of the Novi shopping and entertainment district, Four Points by Sheraton Detroit Novi presents rooms with thoughtful amenities while featuring two restaurants and flexible event space. We are near major corporations as well as the Suburban Collection Showplace, Twelve Oaks Mall and Fountain Walk.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push carts for extended periods
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling (including weekends and holidays)
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and guest amenities
- Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to the appropriate department
- Follow hotel procedures for handling lost and found items
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly and safely
- Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests and team members
