Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas in a clean and orderly manner according to the property’s standards and excellence to ensure guest satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Cleans guest rooms Make beds Dust rooms Vacuum carpets Checks and secure rooms Empty interior and exterior garbage Shampoo carpets Maintain cleanliness of hallway, stairways and lobby Organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures Distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand Restock room supplies such as, soaps, shampoos Replace dirty linens with clean items Inspect and turn mattresses regularly Use housekeeping module by in room phone or work issued phone Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy Perform monthly deep cleaning projects as directed by supervisor Check all appliances in rooms are in working order Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout Respond to guest queries and requests Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms Organize and restock cart at the end of the shift Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms Follow all company safety and security procedures Report any maintenance or supervisor issues or safety hazards Observe and report damage of hotel property Attend all staff meetings Other duties as requested by your supervisor
