At ISLANDVIEW CASINO AND RESORT, our housekeeping department plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a positive guest experience. We are seeking a full-time Heavy Duty Porter to join our team! A Heavy Duty Porter in a housekeeping department is responsible for performing a variety of specialty cleaning tasks throughout a property, including deep cleaning, heavy equipment operation, and moving furniture. They also ensure a clean and safe environment for guests, employees, and visitors. Assures that the common areas of the hotel are clean at all times. Fulfills dispatch calls in a timely manner and reports when completed. Responsible for all deep cleaning requests and the operation and maintenance of all the equipment used to perform cleaning duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of specialty cleaning tasks throughout the property.

- Maintain cleanliness of common areas at all times.

Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow through with assigned duties.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment used (hand held radios, flat carts, rider extractor, and hand extractor).
