About The Position

Requirements

• Knowledge of general housekeeping and recordkeeping.
• Ability to comprehend oral and written instructions, correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to ensure guest rooms and common areas are cleaned, ensuring the best possible experience for each guest, to Town Pump and brand operational standards within specified time frames per guest type.
• Supervise all housekeeping and laundry team members, including participating in hiring, training, performance management, conflict resolution, discipline, and termination of team members as required.
• Practice and reinforce with team members safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Assign daily work for the housekeeping and laundry department, distribute assignments accordingly, complete inspections of rooms, public areas, storerooms, and laundry, provide regular feedback to team members about their assigned work, and complete weekly schedule based on forecasted hotel occupancy.
• Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
• Prepare housekeeping cart upon arrival and at shift closing daily, always follow Town Pump's grooming and appearance guidelines, and wear uniform and name tag while on shift.
• Use and update the room assignment clipboard, sign-out, and sign-in master room keys daily, ensuring master keys are always secure and never loaned to anyone or taken off the property.
• Manage linen and supply inventory, generate supply requisitions, and maintain responsibility for lost and found items.
• Maintain a strong work ethic, display a high degree of pride and integrity in job performance, comply with Town Pump expectations for confidentiality of guest and company information, and communicate in a courteous, professional manner with teammates, management, and guests.
• Possess knowledge of general housekeeping and recordkeeping, and ability to comprehend oral and written instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• May be required to perform duties such as folding laundry, cleaning the lobby, assisting with breakfast service, cleaning public areas, guest rooms, etc.
