About The Position

The Fairfield Inn & Suites Seattle Bremerton is seeking a Guest Service Representative. This role involves greeting and completing standard check-in procedures for arriving guests daily, using both manual and computerized methods to ensure guest satisfaction. The representative will courteously answer inquiries, accept reservations in person, through email, and via telephone, and assist guests with directions and area activities. Other responsibilities include controlling and recording financial transactions at the front desk, maintaining good customer relations by staying informed of all in-house and area functions, and maintaining a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times. The position also requires performing other duties as assigned by management, contributing to and maintaining department and front desk log books, aiding other associates and departments for overall hotel performance, and ensuring safety by following safety and sanitation procedures and reporting suspicious activity.

Responsibilities

  • Courteously answers inquiries and accepts reservations, in person, through email and telephone calls, and help guests with directions and area activities
  • Controls and records financial transactions a front desk
  • Maintains good customer relations by staying informed of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person and on telephone
  • Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management
  • Contributes and maintains established information and communication sources such as department and front desk log books to enhance department communications and operations
  • Aids other associates and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel
  • Ensure safety by following the safety and sanitation procedures and reporting suspicious activity to management
