The Hotel General Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of the hotel as a support role to the Chief Engineer. This role involves assisting with general facility upkeep, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and pool maintenance. Reporting to the General Manager and Chief Engineer, the technician is expected to deliver high-quality work that minimizes disruption to guests. The position requires experience in basic construction trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, basic heating and air conditioning, swimming pool maintenance, painting, caulking, and related skills. The primary goal is to maintain a safe, well-kept property for both the team and guests while upholding McKibbon's Guiding Principles.
