About The Position

The Academy Hotel, Colorado Springs is a family owned and operated full service hotel. We're committed to providing our guests exceptional customer service to ensure every stay is memorable. Wages: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience. Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm and/or 3:00pm - 11:00pm (16-32 hours per week)

Requirements

  • Customer Service experience.
  • Reliable and trustworthy multi-tasker able to perform with little direct supervision.
  • Willing to cross train on Night Audit.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • We will train you on the PMS.
  • Must posses a passion for hospitality and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive, friendly and up-beat attitude when greeting and communicating with guests.
  • Manage the Check-In and Check-Out process.
  • Register guests and assign rooms.
  • Immediately respond to and follow up on all guest questions and requests.
  • Assist with bookings from third party OTAs.
  • Communicate with Maintenance and Housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and functioning.
  • Communicate with Housemen to assist with guest requests.
  • Resolve all guest complaints in a timely manner.
  • Keep abreast of groups, functions and banquets.
  • Administrative tasks as directed.
  • Assist guests with purchases from the 24 Hour Store.
  • Monitor shift checklists and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
