About The Position

This is a part-time position at the Little Rock Embassy Suites, where teamwork, passion, and appreciation ignite service excellence. The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in creating a memorable first impression for guests by checking them in, registering them, and providing information about the hotel and local area. The ideal candidate will engage with guests from all over the world and strive to exceed their expectations. This role is essential in promoting a culture of service, perseverance, inclusion, respect, innovation, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong desire to make an impact on other people.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outgoing and engaging personality.
  • Ability to pick up computer skills easily.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest in guests.
  • Check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
  • Assist guests with sending and receiving faxes, packages, and mail.
  • Help to resolve problems through recovery when things aren't quite right.
  • Commit to the equitable treatment of all associates and guests.
  • Value everyone's contribution to the team.
  • Look for ways to become an expert on the local area and hotel services.
  • Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments as needed.
