Martis Valley Lodge, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Truckee-Tahoe is Truckee's newest mountain lodge and has recently re-opened following a multi-million dollar renovation! Our team at Trailhead Social, Martis Valley Lodge's new restaurant and bar, is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team! Requirements

  • Minimum of High School education  
  • Minimum of two (2) years in restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision 
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally  
  • Team player  
  • Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members  
  • Ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts 
  • Knowledge of local alcohol serving practices and standards 
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations 

Nice To Haves

  • Alcohol awareness certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, trains, monitors and coaches department staff  
  • Directs and assigns employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards  
  • Oversee food and beverage operations at the hotel; Trailhead Social services daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar service and the occasional banquet
  • Performs department opening and/or closing duties  
  • Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times 
  • Reports to and works directly with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager 
  • Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests  
  • Perform various other duties as assigned
